Movie Monday: To Kill a Mockingbird

Have you ever read "To Kill a Mockingbird"? If you have, you probably fell in love with it right away just like I did =))) 

Ever since I finished the book I wanted to see the movie... Why?? Cuz with every line of the book I saw myself in Scout's character =)) I even got comments from a couple of friends that I am just like her =))) 

So I really wanted to not only imagine but also see that little tomboy girl =))) 

To Kill a Mockingbird was a good Sunday watch, full of fighting for justice, child's curiosity and perfect father love. And Scout is really that kind of a girl I've always been... naive tomboy, climbing every tree, loving and respecting her father...

С того самого момента, как прочитала книгу, очень хотела посмотреть и фильм. Почему? Потому что с каждой строчкой все больше и больше видела себя в героине Скаут =)) Помню, даже несколько из моих друзей говорили мне, что я точно как она =))Вот мне и хотелось, не только представить эту маленькую девчонку-пацаненка, но и увидеть.

Убить пересмешника стал отличным выбором воскресным вечером. Фильм полон борьбы за справедливость? детской любопытности и отцовской любви. А Скаут и правда оказалась такой, какой я была всю свою жизнь: эдакий наивный пацаненок, которая карабкается на все, что видит.... любит и уважает своего отца...

What good Sunday watch you'd recommend?

Movie Monday: That's What I Am

What a great movie!!! Ed Harris is fantastic as always!!!

I personally found this movie inspiring... To me it was that loud voice saying "Don't be afraid to be who you really are!! Do more of what you love!!!! And don't you care of what others think!!!"

Меня лично этот фильм вдохновил.... Он будто был тем самым громким голосом, говорящим "Не бойся быть собой!!! Делай больше того, что любишь!! И не все ли равно, что о тебе думают другие???"

Movie Monday

Hey there everyone!!!! Yup, I'm back with a Movie Monday post =)))
It seems like I've watched tons of movies lately but none of them are actually worth mentioning.... Ok... I gotta choose a few =)))
Here we go...

Hugh Jackman as a bad guy?? Ewan McGregor playing a role of a nerd sleeping with every other girl??? Ehhhhmmm..... No!!! Not good...

Liked it!! Worth watching!!!

I didn't wanna watch this movie cuz I kinda hate Ben Foster and Woody Harrelson...But I noticed that this movie was nominated for a few movie awards and decided to change my mind and watch it... 

Can you see the comment on the poster "Moving and enormously powerful with riveting performances"??Well... Guess what??? That's true!!!The moments when they came to the houses to announce the death of a loved one.... Dang it, those moments were so emotional that even most cold-hearted people would be touched...

I gotta admit, I loved this movie.... You might watch it thinking "Aaaahhh..... Just another big Hollywood movie".... Well... It is... BUT!!! It was based on a true story!!! And that's what's impressive!! That actually happened!!!

Plus.... After I last saw Richard Roxburgh in Moulin Rouge...I never thought he could turn into THIS!!! =))))))

In a nutshell... Watch it!!! =))))

Movie Monday

It's been a while since I last wrote my Movie Monday post... Now it's time to bring the tradition back!!! =)) Let's start!!! =))) 

Liked it! That's how each of us should love their jobs and how devoted we should be!!! Only then we'll enjoy what we're doing!! =))) 

I LOOOOVED this movie!!! Wanted watch it ever since I saw the trailer!!! =)))) And even though it had more swears than I expected it still was great!!! Made me wonder whether my parents had smth like that in their life =)))) And it kinda made me wanna try and live in that period to feel that "epoch"... I think I could good at that with my love for bright colours =)))) 

This movie is just....AMAZING!!!! I LOVED it soooo much!!!! Both Katherine Heigl and Just Duhamel were just perfect for these roles... It's a great family comedy that you're ready to watch again and again!!!!

Yet another movie I loved =) I'm not a fan of Matt Damon, so the main reason why I wanted to watch the movie was Emily Blunt. Plus I saw the trailer =)) The movie turned out really good. It's about fighting for your love and fate no matter what. I think when a girl watches this movie she thinks of her boyfriend/husband and wonders if he'd do the same to be with her... Or just dreams about a guy fighting for her this hard =))) 

Ok.... This is the last one for today.... And another one I totally loved =))))) Great comedy that even my Mr.A seemed to like =)))) And Kristen Bell is a cutie as always and was just perfect for this role. Funny story with funny coincidences and should be added to your must-watch-list =)))) 

Movie Monday

Yay!!! I'm finally making this again!!!!! I honestly have been so suuuuuper busy this last month that I didn't really have time to make any long post..... So basically everything I posted this month was from work =)))) 
So while I'm making some pancakes I've decided to update you with some movies =))))
Let's start =)))

The whole movie was like "Aaaaawwwww".... And I kept on wondering how they made this movie... Did they found a white lion, went through its life and then made up a legent out of it??? Or did they have a legend first and then they just made a super natural looking movie???

I heard the book was really really good...So I really wanted to see the movie..... It's really hard for me to find a movie that would be scary... Well.... this one is not among them =))))) But that would be a good horror movie for those who get scared easily =)))) 

Good.... It actually made me shudder a few times!!!!! That means it's a pretty good horror movie.... Though it was super stupid at some moments...But in the end it keeps you wondering "What in the world is gonna happen next???"

Made according to good old tradition of "Saw Movies".... With tons of blood and people getting cut and all that stuff.... Can't remember much from all other parts so I kinda kept on thinking how this or that person is connected to the plot =)))))) 

This movie was super dumb.... But it didn't make it a bad one at all.... I actually loved it =))))) Dumb but funny... What else do you need?? =))))) 

Ha... I watched this movie with my room-mate who gets scared super easily..... Even though the movie wasn't scary to me... Just pretty intense... She jumped, hid behind my back, leaned on the wall and ran away to another room =)))))) But still even she liked the movie =))))))))))))))))

Wow... Looks like lots of horror movies watched =))))))))))))))))))

Isn't it adorable??? When I'm at work I sometimes watch random BBC short videos about nature.... Moreover I downloaded at least 2 shows like National Geographic or smth like that about animals and nature.... I feel like I'm going crazy... But I just can't help it.... It's always so interesting and breathtaking =)))) And adooooorable =))))  

Late Movie Monday - Dance/Music Movies

I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to post anything yesteray so I thought it's better late than never =))) 
This post is about dance/music movies =))) 
Are they as inspiring to you as they are to me??? 
I can't get enough of these movies in my life... Whenever I watch them I get soooooooo inspired.... I wanna start taking dance classes.. and street dance would be my choice.... I wanna do it sooooo bad!!! Maybe in summer when Aaron is gone and I'll have more time on my days off =)))
Wanna know about dance/music movies I recently watched??? Here they are:

Step Up is usually the movie that inspires me most to start taking street dance classes =))))) Ok.... I'll just show one of my favorite dances =)))

This movie is about discovering and developing your talents.... and sometimes hidden talents...

This is a British version of Step Up plus ballet =)))) Still liked it, though the dances are not as good as in Step Up. 

Ok.... and the last one for today

I LOVED it.... It's so nice =)))... Most of all I loved how slim and natural Christina looks in it... 

Plus Cam Gigandet didn't play a role of a bad vampire here... or of a bad a$$ student.... I finally got to see him as a positive character =)))) And it was good 

Oh.... And this man

He's always so perfect for all the roles he plays.... I was just a bit surprised in this movie... I won't tell you why for now =)) 

And the last thing about this movie that made me watch it is Kristen Bell

Another surprise of the movie cuz she was such a negative character.... 

Does this kind of movies inspire you to smth bigger??? To following your dream and a wish to change smth about your life?? Well... they always do this to me.... I just never change a thing =)))))

Movie Monday

Hey there everyone... I've realized that there are tons of movies that I didn't tell you about.. I'm sorry I'm not in the best mood right now...But I promised myself that I'm gonna keep this monday tradition so I'll just say a few lines on each of the movies... 

Not impressed at all.... But one positive thing about this movie - STYLISH!!! And I mean really stylish.... Handsome guys in fine suits.... Looks amazing.... All the rest is not so worth watching.... =))))

Great great great!!!! As all of the movies about animals..... We all know that even your pet is a totall mess you still love it no matter what.... And that's what the movie is about... Plus movies about animals are always a good reason to cry rivers... or at least shed a few tears =)))))So if you're gonna watch it keep some handkerchiefs with you =)))) 

Is there anyone here who has never been in a distance relationship???? If yes - watch and see what it's like.... All the rest.... We know what it's like, huh??? So we just watch it and see ourselves in most of the situations... 

I really wonder what it was like for Drew Barrymore and Justin Long to be in this movie together cuz everyone knows they used to be a couple...

Nothing..... absolutely nothing..... 

Christopher Gorham is such a cutie =)))) This movie is not a masterpiece... Just a sweet romantic movie with pretty much only 3 persons in the cast... All about the main characters and making a choice... 

Loved it!!! It's like a "Christmas Carol" but about girlfriends =))))) Funny and romantic =))) 

Ok..... that's pretty much it for today... I'll leave all the other movie I watched recently for the next monday =)))

Movie Monday - Transformers

Ok... So I start a project =))  For my blog not to be full of just movie talks I decided to have a certain day for them =)))) And since today it's gonna be Monday =))) I'm pretty sure I'm gonna talk about a few movies at once =))
This post is gonna be about "Transformers"... Both parts.. 

 

Just think of two names... Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.... Do they say smth to you??? 

And now think of two other names.... Shaia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel.... Girls, do these names say smth to you????

Ok.... And now put all the 4 names together.... Do you get what I mean???? That just means AWESOME!!!! =))))) 

Loved both of the movies =)))) 

Watched it with Aaron (that made me love it even more) =)))... Not sure he loved it as much as I did =)))

Lars And The Real Girl

 

Summary:  Lars and the Real Girl is the touching, amusing, and humorous story about a man whose emotional baggage has kept him from fully embracing life. They consult the family doctor, who explains that this is a delusion he's created--for what reason, she doesn't yet know, but they should all go along with it. What follows is an emotional journey for Lars and the people around him.

 

This movie is so.... so.... I don't even have a word to describe it... While watching it I kept on having those unconscious "Aaaawww" sounds coming from my mouth =))))) 

Ryan Gosling was nominated 7 times (!!!) to different awards as Best Actor for this movie... No wonder why... I was amazed by his work and how great he could play a guy with such a mental disorder... We all know how dreamy and manly Ryan can be and this time he had to turn into someone absolutely different. Perfect transformation! 

Ever seen this movie?? Liked it??Am I right?? =)))

Chuck - Season 1 Promos

I was sorting out some stuff on my computer and came across these season 1 promo videos for "Chuck" =)))) Love them!! =)))

So I spent lots of time watching movies these days =)))))
Soooooo..... =))))
Was kinda disappointed with:

and 

1) I heard that Old Dogs was super great and funny, but when I watched it I was like "Hhhhmmm.... And where should I laugh??"... Unfortunately the cast hasn't saved the movie...And seeing Travolta with his hair and eyebrows dyed is like "Eeeeewww" =))))))

2) Date Night.... Someone said that couples that lived together over 5 years should watch it for sure.... I guess that is why I thought "Oh... I hope me and my husband will never have that period they had... And though it's unavoidable, I hope we'll find a way to always "warm up" our feelings".

This movie was in Top of most downloaded movies on one of Russian websites....So when I was downloading it I thought that would suck... Kind of... "Aaaahhh...some French action...not interesting"... But I told myself that I would at least start watching it =))))) I watched the whole movie in the end =))))) It was intense... not much of an action, but when it came to murders they were super cruel...I'm impressed!!

Super impressed with this one!!!!! This movie was nominated to 5 different award in 9 categories and most of them were for acting!!! Tobey Maguire was even nominated for Golden Globe!!And I gotta say he did GREAT!!! I never knew he's so professional!!! And Natalie Portman... Oh, she's always been one of my favorites!!! At first I thought this was going to be same story as in Pearl Harbor but it's totally different...I can't remember any other drama that would make such an impression on me (maybe only the "Pursuit of Happyness" and "Crash")... Almost half of the movie I watched closing my face with hands... You know when you close your mouth and nose when you're super nervous...This movie is sooo worth watching!!!! But be ready that it's going to be emotionally hard!!!! 

When I just saw the poster for this movie I was absolutely sure it would suck =)))))) But to my surprise I liked it =))) It wasn't scary at all but it was intense. While watching I was really worried about the main heroes. I loved it how creators could make it interesting showing mostly emotions and feeling. 

Loved it!!!!! All the actors fit the movie just perfectly!!! What I paid much attention to is great stunts =))) 

Mmmmm.... Good one!!! I missed Mr T though and I think noone can smoke a cigar as good as George Peppard =)))) 

Well... Still all of them did great in the movie... Loved the humor and the action... I think I gotta watch it again =)))
