Nutella Cupcakes

Sometimes...on Saturday mornings I wake up with a thought "Today I should make something really cool...Something that would make me proud of myself".

Same story with these Nutella cupcakes =))) Gotta admit these are the best cupcakes I have ever made =)))

They turned out so soft and tasty!!

*Иногда... по субботам я просыпаюсь с мыслью в голове "Сегодня нужно приготовить что-то очень клевое... от чего потом сама собой гордиться буду".

Та же история вот с этими капкейками с Нутеллой...и, должна признать, это пока что мои самые лучшие капкейки =)))

Они получились очень мягкими и вкусными!!

Cookie Swap

It was time!! It was time to finally stop spending every spare minute home... It was time to start talking to people and make new friends =))) 

That's how idea of hosting a Cookie Swap came to my mind =)) And we did it!!!

We had lots of cookies, brownies and sandwiches...I was surprised that every couple we invited actually baked something and brought it!!! 

* Пришло время наконец-то перестать проводить дома каждую свободную минуту и уже начать общаться с людьми =)))

Так вот ко мне в голову и пришла идея собрать народ и устроить вечер с кучей печенек =))) Правда, кроме печенек на столе еще был браунис и бутерброды (которые, кстати, пользовались большой популярностью в тот день =) )

Признаться, была приятно удивлена, что каждая пара, что мы пригласили, не смотря ни на что напекли вкусняшек и принесли с собой =)) 

 

What's a party without photobooth shots?? 

The best thing about our "mini-party" wasn't the cookies or other sweets.. the best thing was a chance to get to know these people a bit better and to actually have a quality conversation with someone full of stories and jokes =)) 

* Самым лучшим в нашей "мини-вечеринке" даже не были печеньки и остальные вкусняшки... Самым замечательным было то, что наконец-то была возможность узнать этих людей чуть поближе, поболтать, пошутить и услышать кучу разных историй =))) 

Favorite Crumpets Recipe

Whenever I have some time and buttermilk in the fridge...I make these!!! And believe me they are super tasty =))) I really hope "crumpets" is the right word in English for what you see in the picture =))) 

To make those you'll need:

190 g - flour

4 tbsp - plain white sugar

1 1/3 glasses - buttermilk/kefir (one glass is 250 ml)

2 eggs

2 tsp - baking powder

1/2 tsp - bicarbonate of soda

a pinch of salt

In a bowl whip together buttermilk, sugar and eggs. In another bowl mix together flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt and baking powder. Combine both mixtures.

Husband totally adores these crumpets.

*Когда у меня есть время, а в холодильнике остался кефир, готовлю вот эти оладушки =)))

Чтобы их приготовить, вам понадобится:

190 гр муки

4 ст.л. сахара

1 1/3 стакана кефира

2 яйца

2 ч.л. разрыхлителя

1/2 ч.л. соды

щепотка соли

В миску смешиваем муку, соду, соль и разрыхлитель. В другой миске взбиваем кефир с яйцами и сахаром. Соединяем две смеси и замешиваем тесто.

Муж у меня просто обожает эти оладушки =))))

Pizza Time!!!

So yesterday night I went out with friends to have some pizza!!! It was pretty cool to see all of them together!! And I was really surprised to see my best friend there... cuz he moved to Moscow about a month ago... But this time... all of my besties were there )))

Me and Sashka took a huge pizza for two of us ))))

Pretty big, huh?? ))))

But to tell the truth, I tried a small piece of Shondra's pizza and ejoyed it much more then the half of my one )))

Mmmmm... It was one with shrimps and pineapples... Gotta take it the next time I go to that place again ))))

Poor Vanya.... He had to just sit there hoping someone would share a piece of pizza with him cuz he had no money to buy one... But in the end generous Dima came and shared a piece of his cold (by that time) pizza with Vanya )))))

After everyone was done with pizza Kristina joined us!!! Poor thing... they didn't have anything she wanted to order ))))) Though you can't say she was upset looking at this picture...

After a year in America she know how to look happy in pictures )))))))))

I actually totally loved the end of that night, cuz me and Kristina had a chance to talk all the way back home... Just like in old times... I missed it!!!
