NERD Shirt

Oh.... I want one sooooo bad!!!!! =))))))) 22$!!!! Crap!!! I don't even have a card to buy it online =(((((
May I have it for Christmas???? Please!!!!!! =))))))))))))))

Lately. Exhausted

I know it's been forever since I last posted anything... but really my life has been crazy these months so I didn't have time at all...
I spent August and half of September babysitting my 'lil sis.... Oh... It'd been sooooo tiring and exhausting...
Actually my sister is considered to be a perfect child.... BUT (!!!) only when mom is near =)))))
Whenever that's just 2 of us....that means no respect, no listening, crying, yelling, being naughty and constantly saying "No I won't" to whatever I say...
Being an elder sister is soooo much harder than being a mom!!!!! It's even a million times harder when you have a character like mine =)))) I get super mad and irritated easily...
But having my 'lil sis I learned to be more patient and take things easy... It's still hard...
Whenever I have relatives around they say that I'm the one who's bringing up Masha and that I'm the one who's always there for her... that I'm doing much more for her than mom.... Well.... That's true in some way... I'm definitely the one who spends much more time with Masha than anyone else.
But... I'm just a sister so the attitude for me is different... Sometimes I wish she loved and respected me as much as mom. Mom says I should deserve that respect but really I have no idea what else I should do for her to start listening to me.
No, I'm not complaining.... No matter how hard it is I still love it... All this time together made us even closer. Tons of kisses and hugs, lots of laughter =)))
The only thing I hope for most is that for her I won't be "Oh, that strict sister that spoiled my childhood" one =)))) As far as I'm the one she loves I'll love every second spent with her =)))))

Angelina Jolie

I figured that I have tons of pictures of different celebrities and some of them are really cool. Right now it's Angelina Jolie's turn =)) Here are my favorite shots:

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I get to bake from time to time... So I decided that I'm gonna share some recipes with you whenever I make smth nice =))
Yesterday I made these:

Recipe:
1 cup (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup (210 grams) light or dark brown sugar
1/3 cup (65 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (195 grams) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups (260 grams) old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup (140 grams) dark raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) with oven rack in the center of the oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter and sugars until creamy and smooth (about 2 - 3 minutes). Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and beat until incorporated. Stir in the rolled oats and raisins.
For large cookies, use a generous 1/4 cup of batter and place six cookies on each baking sheet. Flatten the cookies slightly so they are about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) thick. Bake the cookies for about 14 - 18 minutes rotating the cookie sheets halfway through the baking time. The cookies are done when golden brown around the edges but still a little soft in the centers. (The longer the cookies bake the more crispy they will be.) Remove from oven and let the cookies cool a few minutes on the bakingsheet before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling. These cookies will keep several days at room temperature

The ones I made looked pretty much like in the picture =)))) And they were really tasty =))) I don't have brown sugar so I used white sugar and still they turned out just great  =)))

Movies

So I spent lots of time watching movies these days =)))))
Soooooo..... =))))
Was kinda disappointed with:

and

1) I heard that Old Dogs was super great and funny, but when I watched it I was like "Hhhhmmm.... And where should I laugh??"... Unfortunately the cast hasn't saved the movie...And seeing Travolta with his hair and eyebrows dyed is like "Eeeeewww" =))))))
2) Date Night.... Someone said that couples that lived together over 5 years should watch it for sure.... I guess that is why I thought "Oh... I hope me and my husband will never have that period they had... And though it's unavoidable, I hope we'll find a way to always "warm up" our feelings".

This movie was in Top of most downloaded movies on one of Russian websites....So when I was downloading it I thought that would suck... Kind of... "Aaaahhh...some French action...not interesting"... But I told myself that I would at least start watching it =))))) I watched the whole movie in the end =))))) It was intense... not much of an action, but when it came to murders they were super cruel...I'm impressed!!

Super impressed with this one!!!!! This movie was nominated to 5 different award in 9 categories and most of them were for acting!!! Tobey Maguire was even nominated for Golden Globe!!And I gotta say he did GREAT!!! I never knew he's so professional!!! And Natalie Portman... Oh, she's always been one of my favorites!!! At first I thought this was going to be same story as in Pearl Harbor but it's totally different...I can't remember any other drama that would make such an impression on me (maybe only the "Pursuit of Happyness" and "Crash")... Almost half of the movie I watched closing my face with hands... You know when you close your mouth and nose when you're super nervous...This movie is sooo worth watching!!!! But be ready that it's going to be emotionally hard!!!!

When I just saw the poster for this movie I was absolutely sure it would suck =)))))) But to my surprise I liked it =))) It wasn't scary at all but it was intense. While watching I was really worried about the main heroes. I loved it how creators could make it interesting showing mostly emotions and feeling.

Loved it!!!!! All the actors fit the movie just perfectly!!! What I paid much attention to is great stunts =)))

Mmmmm.... Good one!!! I missed Mr T though and I think noone can smoke a cigar as good as George Peppard =))))

Well... Still all of them did great in the movie... Loved the humor and the action... I think I gotta watch it again =)))

Ok.... That's all for today I think =)))
